HomeyPoints must make sure that property owners have an incredible experience with ‘My Home Agent’ and voice technology in general. We can not allow anything that will undermine the success of our Home Agents and/or the Amazon Alexa platform.

In order to become a Home Agent, you have to meet the following requirements:

  • Licensing. You must be a licensed real estate agent, salesperson and/or broker in order to join our My Home Agent voice-assistant platform. (This requirement replaced our previous ‘Experience’ requirement).

  • Geography. Any zip codes you claim must be within a 5-mile radius of your office’s public address or home address in metropolitan areas (and a 10-mile radius in more rural areas). The reason for this is that we want to ensure that real estate agents aren’t claiming zip codes which they can’t or won’t physically be able to service properly.

  • Responsiveness. As a Home Agent, you agree to respond to all property owner inquiries (currently generated as introduction emails via Amazon Alexa) within at least 2 hours of receipt to your inbox. The business hours for responses are considered 8am to 9am.

  • Failed Payments. If you miss a subscription payment and don’t make the payment within 5 business days, then you may lose your claimed zip code associated with that payment. Your Home Agent account will be under review and may be revoked immediately by our executive team.

  • Zip Code Limit. Effective October 10, 2018, a Home Agent is limited to a maximum 3 zip codes in order to provide the most professional and responsive experience for property owners. If you signed up before this date, your claimed zip codes are grandfathered in with you.
